Memorial Day Weekend

She really believed that she put her glasses ON...

Memorial Day Weekend gave our water baby lots of time to splish splash in her pool.

And extra time to play with Daddy & her blocks!

"Seriously....when will I fit into my INDIANA hat?!?!?"

"You take a break Mommy....I'll finish the yard".

"Whew...yard work makes me hot....must take a dip to cool down!"

Avery had a tough weekend....we still aren't sure if she is cutting more teeth, going through a growing spurt or just not feeling well but she did manage for some smiles.

She gets rather excited when the marshmallows are busted out by the fire pit.

She is working on her Surfer-girl form.....this is the Redneck Haselby surf simulator?!!?

Teenagers scare Mommy & Daddy as much as they do Avery :)

Memorial Day Weekend was a productive one at the Haselby's full of yard work & family time. We got lots done around the house and was able to have lunch on Memorial Day with good friends but lets not forget the loved ones that we have lost and all of the soldiers serving our country. Happy Memorial Day!

Avery's "Royal Center Grandma" sent Avery her birthday gift.....Thanks RC Grandma Darlene!!

She LOVES cards....and LOVES getting them in the mailbox :)

Won't Forget...

Little Avery received a very special package in the mail. Her Aunt Ashley made her a going away present. A "movie" just for Avery to make sure that she remembers her Aunt Ashley & Uncle Pete even if they are so very far away. There is even a special song from our favorite singer!!!! :)

She loves the "baby" on the screen....but who can blame her!

FINALLY....a day of sunshine!

The weather cooperated and Avery was able to test out her pool that daddy got for her.

"BRRRRR.....that water is ccccooooolllllldddddd!!!!"

The cold well water did not slow her down!

"STOP....no more pictures!"

We might have a sailor on our hands.

Sun & water make for one tired little Avery. We definitely packed a lot of outside family fun into this beautiful Sunday.

We were so happy the DeLaney's were able to spend the whole weekend with us. So sad to see them leave but so happy to make the memories we did with them before they left.

Cousin Bailey enjoys playing with Avery now. She has come along way from last summer when she would get so nervous she would get sick (yes...the dog was afraid of Avery as a baby).

Great Uncle Robert & Great Aunt Kate had the perfect gift.....Avery has already gotten LOTS of play time out of the blocks they got her. We are having tons of family fun building and Avery's favorite-tearing down :)

Ahhhh, Avery's 1st purse from Great Aunt Darlene and Great Uncle Alan. She has had fun this week being a girlie girl walking around with her purse and putting on her "makeup".

Tasha & Jeff got Avery a great book about a rottweiler. She loves the book about Tuffy!!! We have read it over and over and over already this week.
