Avery's First 4th of July. Aunt Ashley got her this shirt to celebrate the day. Too bad Avery can't spend the day with her Aunt since it is her favorite holiday.

Bless peanut's heart....she is quite confused as to why mommy is crying as she puts her in the car seat :(
Avery tries to shoot mommy a 1/2 smile to let her know it will be alright. Avery did very good getting up to get ready for her first day at Susie's (the babysitter). Little Miss is used to sleeping in with mommy in the big bed so she isn't quite grasping why she is up already.
Apparently mommy going back to work was an adjustment for everyone :(
Poor Tuffy-waiting patiently for his mother to come back. He too liked her being home everyday.
Avery had her 6 week well baby check this week. She is a growing girl. She has gained 2 lbs and 2 inches. She is now 10lbs 7oz and 24.5 inches long. She is registering in the 50th percentile for weight and is off the charts (over 99th percentile) for length and head circumference. Daddy laughed and said she has mommy's head since he always teases that mommy stretches out his hats with her big head.
Doctor said that Avery is a happy, healthy baby and he will see her back in 8-10 weeks for the next check.
Baby A figured out that when she kicks her legs and moves her arms enough she can now bat around her toys in her play gym. She is starting to be able to entertain herself for short periods of time.
The day has worn her out and now she is going to relax in her swing.
She has also started gnawing on her hands in the past two weeks. You would think we were starving the child but really she eats all the time!
Avery was exhausted from her busy weekend with Aunt Ashley & Uncle Pete. She was zonked out in mommy & daddy's bed all afternoon.

Mommy couldn't resist, she ended up laying down with her. Mommy decided to do whatever Avery wanted to do today since they didn't get to spend much time together over the weekend (mommy had to share baby girl with the rest of the family). LOTS of snuggling.
They are either plotting against mommy or Aunt Ashley is telling Avery embarrassing stories of mommy-either way, can't be good with those ornery grins.

What an angel!
Avery FINALLY was able to meet her Aunt Ashley and Uncle Pete today. She was very happy to have her Aunt Ashley hold her and even happier to have Ashley hold her while she slept. 
Uncle Pete showed no fear holding Miss Avery. She cuddled right up with him and was perfectly content.
Auntie did good feeding little butt....Avery showed Aunt Ash that there is nothing to be nervous of while holding a baby.
Oh funny Uncle Pete.....Avery was pretty intrigued by Pete's funny faces and goofy sounds. Oh the years ahead will be fun for her as her Uncle Pete can entertain himself and her for hours!

Avery got a Seahorse Glo-worm that plays music and lights up to help her fall asleep in her pack&play. She loves anything that plays music!
