Pumpkin Patch

We headed to the pumpkin patch.  Unfortunately, it wasn't a U-Pick patch so we didn't get the laughs that we did last year heading out in search of "the one".  Kids still had fun.  Next year Braylin will be getting around better so we will have to head back out to a U-pick and maybe do some corn mazes.  It has been a hectic fall so convenience of Brookston won out this year.  They do a great job and a lot of work goes into the zillions of pumpkin they pick and sort.  Avery was totally stoked at the sea of orange :)

Little man was super tired that day and slept a good chunk of the zoo trip away but he was snug as a bug.

ALS Walk-2012

ALS Walk 2012 was another huge success.  The final numbers haven't been released as of yet as donations are still coming in and being counted.  We had a great time and continued our annual walk to help De'Feat ALS.  The walk each year is something we look forward to as a family to honor my dad and help other dealing with the effects of ALS.  There was such a great turn out for such a cool and windy fall day but there was so much energy and hope it was inspiring.  Thanks to everyone that donated to Daddy's Little Helpers.  We again broke our team goal!
