July-came & went

 Ummmm....can you see her feet?  Yeah-momma couldn't either.  Not a huge fan of large bodies of non-chlorinated water but trying not to shelter my kids too much.  (even if it gives mommy nightmares for several nights afterwards).

Accepting her report card and goodie bag, Avery survived swim lessons at the City Pool (or should I say they survived Avery).  She did learn quite a bit however we opted not to move onto the next session this summer as it appeared we were sending a lot of mixed messages to Avery about not having to wear a life jacket or bubble (they don't allow for them at the City Pool for lessons).  She has been around water quite a bit this summer and though learning to swim without safety devices is the ultimate goal, for now-we'd like to stick to the "NO JACKET-NO WATER" rule.

Tractor Pull

 Baby boy at his first tractor pull-we weren't sure how he would handle the noise since he is so sensitive with loud noises but he seemed to enjoy it and even left the headphones on most of the time.

 Daddy's girl is still VERY into pulling....she seems to think she is going to do it too someday (Lord help us!).

Tasha had Avery help her hand out the award...it was in memory of Grandpa Daily.  It sure was different not seeing him in the stands this year but he was very much there with everyone and always will be.
