Just a Day at the Beach!

Mommy & Avery checking out how warm the water is... (Avery is sporting the cutest cover-up from her Uncle Brock & Aunt Linds....quite comfy!)
Avery's first encounter with sand....."Dada...it sticks to me!!!!"
Getting the hang of how to play in the sand...
"Ooooohhhh, this is WWWAAAAAYYYYYY better than my pool at home!!!"
Never too young to learn to soak up some rays!
Daddy to the rescue....Avery lost her water shoe.
Well, at least it appears that she might not freak out like mommy when the seaweed/grass hits her legs under the water!?!?!?
Splish Splash.
Have to watch her close....she just heads back in the water whenever she wants to....
"This place is soooo much fun....can we come back next weekend?"
What a beach babe!
Daddy & Avery playing in the water & sand. We won't even talk about how much sand ended up INSIDE the suit and swim diaper.
Avery loved every minute of our day at Culver. Mommy & Daddy enjoyed the day too. Thinking a few more trips are in store for us this summer to the beach!
Ahhhhhh, she loved when the waves would hit her.
She will be a ball when we finally make it to the ocean!
Surfer Girl in the making :)
Of course, mommy has always loved lighthouses so we had to go check this small one out.
"Bye-Bye Beach....Bye-Bye Water & Sand. See you next time!"

Let the Fair's begin....

Avery was happy to see her Papaw. Papaw & Mamaw stopped at the Pulaski Co. Fair to see their Avery.
Checking out the cows....
Not impressed with the huge tongue that is coming at her!
Avery was happy to see her Mamaw & Papaw. She was super excited that she was going to see Grandma & Grandpa Daily since she has been asking for them a MILLION times this weekend!
Due to the late night of fireworks the night before and the HOT temps today, Avery quickly melted after she didn't get her morning nap. She was tired but happy as can be as soon as we got home though. (probably because of the AC).
Checking out what the Federer's got her....
LOVING the card as usual.
Carrying one of her new sand toys around....(no, it is not a kitty litter scoop like daddy keeps saying).
Watching mommy try to blow bubbles and dying to get in them herself. Thanks Natalie, Josh & Kale for the great gifts!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Happy Girl hitting the pool!
Itsy Bitsy Spider
Getting ready to head to the fireworks.
"Daddy....did you see that?!?!?!"
"Fireworks all gone?" Avery liked the fireworks that she was able to see. Can't wait til she is able to see some up close!

Ahhh....finally back home.

Avery trying hard to get her toys back into the pool...
She is getting a little braver each time....new thing-face first down into the water.
Avery's swim up snack bar :)
Avery-bug is getting harder and harder to keep shoes on. You can usually count on at least one shoe being off by the time she gets outs of her car seat.
Growing like a weed!
Playing with her kitty SparkPlug from cousin Tasha. SP has made herself quite at home at the Haselby's and she is really good with Avery.

Red, White & Blue

We took Avery to the Boat Parade on Lake Freeman. She helped display a little patriotism too!
Yes...she just saw her first boat! (and it wasn't even one of the decorated ones).
Sun....close to water.....yep-that will keep these girls happy!!!
"where did the boats go?"
One of the boats...
And another...
Avery just got off the phone with Papaw where he promised her he'd buy her a boat. :)
Part of the fly over....they weren't jets but thankfully these bombers flew a little slower which allowed Avery a chance to see them.
She liked it when the boats would sound their horns.
The parachuters in the park!
Monticello had some festivities in the city park after the boat parade that we decided to check out.
Of course, we had to make a quick stop at the swings while we were there.
Avery enjoyed the ride on the "Boiler Express" train that was up from Purdue.
She loved when the train would blow its whistle...it was nice & loud! (so was mommy as she sang the IU fight song most of the way).
For the moment....they were two Purdue Peas in a Pod....she'll soon realize that she bleeds crimson like her mommy :)

Go Green!!!!

Cutest little thing at the tractor pull!
Avery was very excited when she spotted Grandma coming towards her. The nice shrill squeal could be heard over the trucks that were pulling :)
Talking her Grandma's ear off....she has been quite the grandma's girl this week since they spent the week together.
She gets a real kick out of the head phones!
Cousin Kale getting all hyped up on cotton candy...he was nice enough to try to share some with Avery though.
Kale entertaining everyone with his jokes :)
Checking out Aunt Darlene's "pretties"....Avery LOVES any jewelry she can find!!!
Can't even tell that this bright eyed beauty is awake 3hrs past her bedtime!
Avery loved every minute of her first tractor pull. If Uncle Alan & Cuz Jess are in need of a cute lil' groupie....we think Avery would be more than happy to volunteer. Go Team Daily!!!!
