Fun around the Christmas Tree

 Avery and her kitten, Boots.
"where did all those presents come from?"
 Someone made himself comfy....
Avery has such a love for life.....she can find fun in anything!
She is pretty sure she just heard Alvin again.....LOL
This happy little baby makes everyone around him smile :)

Christmas Card...take 1?

Well, trying to get Avery & Braylin in a picture together just wasn't happening this year.  It was hard enough to find time to get them dressed and do any photos at all but we got it done.  As you can see, we have two smiley kids with LOTS of energy and not always so cooperative either.  They make us smile though :)

It's that time.....

Checking out the pretty ornaments while sis gets ready.....the kids are off to meet Santa!
Excited at this point...she can't wait to meet Santa.
Braylin is all smiles waiting to sit on Santa's lap too...he isn't sure who Santa is but he is sure he will like him.
And...no longer excited to see Santa.  This pic is classic!  Avery scared to death and brother laughing...LOL
Braylin snuggled right down into Santa's suit...Avery, eh....not so much.

Bright LIghts

So the coolest part of the Indy Christmas at the Zoo was out in the parking lot.  2 beautiful reindeer were on display.  They were so neat and a hit with all of us!
Holy mother of lights!!!!  There are a TON of lights in every color.  WAY COOL!!!
Pretty lights and displays are around every corner....
Heading to see the TIGERS...Avery's favorite!
Not every zoo has a dinosaur! ;)
Avery was able to write a letter to Santa....she insisted on telling Santa that she loved her daddy.
Lighted animals are throughout the zoo grounds as well.
Avery kept saying "I want to hold that sea.wike a baby...pwease....I wock him just wike a baby".
Mommy & Daddy took Avery to Indy for a special Avery weekend.  We had a great little overnight getaway and did anything & everything that Avery-bug chose to do.  She has done really well with adjusting to life with a baby brother but it was nice to be able to spend some one on one time with her again and make it all about her.  She thought it was "willy cool" too!

Trees, Trees, Trees

Mommy and the kids trying to find the perfect tree.
Braylin was taking in all the sights and sounds of the tree farm.
 "THIS IS THE ONE!!!!"
Miss Avery believes she is going to cut down the tree to take it home.
Mamaw came with us too and shared a few giggles with baby boy.
Avery was looking for Alvin (Chipmunks).  She was sure she was going to find him in our tree.
Still looking for that silly "chickiemonk"
Avery taking it all in and asking a million "why you do that for?" questions
This kid is always up to something...
Fun in the truck with Mamaw
Haselby boys making some memories on Braylin's first trip to Miller Tree Farm!
Avery was able to check out Santa.  She didn't want to sit on his lap quite yet but chatted with him a bit and she showed her pictures.  "See you later Santa!"

Family Snuggles

Little Dino....oh so cute and ready to hang with the fam....
Braylin was able to meet his Uncle Pete for the first time over Thanksgiving.  Uncle Pete was a natural with him and little man loved getting to spend time and cuddle with his Auntie Ash and Uncle Pete.
It is hard to tell where one plaid ends and the next begins....(Daddy's mini-me)
Aunt Ashley getting some "suga" :)
Braylin was very content snuggling with Grandma Haselby.  He sat with her for quite a while and was just all smiles and full of things to say.
Yes, this is a wild child.  For some reason, Avery turns into flippin' wild child every time we get to Grandma's.  Apparently she is not used to such a large, wide-open living room because she acts as if it is a gymnasium.

Yummmmmyyyyyy

Braylin started foods at just the right time of year!  He took right to the cereal his first time and ate a whole bowl.  Daddy even snuck him some mashed potatoes at Grandma Dailys over Thanksgiving.
