Trick or Treat

Halloween 2010....such a cute little monkey with her "Tick o teat". Unfortunately-due to the recent hospital visit, Avery is scared to death of people now. Trick or treating didn't go so well on Saturday night but she was a bit better on Sunday with the family.
Snack time....it is hard work looking so cute and being given treats!
Little girl monkey's wear pink bows....
"Ooohh ooohhh ahhhh ahhhh"
DIMPLES!!!!
Who wouldn't want to give her candy?!?!?!?
Finally warming up with Grandma Haselby, she is showing her big monkey belly....
Showing Grandma Haselby her "Orange like a pumpkin" cast.
Avery managed to talk Grandma into giving her A LOT of candy. As Grandma would put a piece of candy in Avery's bag, our little monkey would say "Moooorrrreeee".
She sure loves her Grandma and Grandpa Daily and they are pretty fond of her as well :)
This monkey is done....til next year. Happy Halloween!!!

Thank You!!!

The balloon & teddy that was waiting on Avery when she came out of recovery from her Aunt Ashley & Uncle Pete who are all the way in Charlotte.
We have one special little lady. The amount of caring & concern expressed by family, friends and co-workers has truely touched us all! A big thanks to the grandparents for the caterpillar music toy and the Baby Alive Dr set. She loves them both!!!
Brandon came home one evening from work with a huge box filled with gifts for Avery from his co-workers. Those ladies at Community State Bank are so thoughtful. Coloring books, stuffed animals, games and lots of books.....Avery has been very entertained. Thank YOU!!!!!
A special blanket made by Kay. Avery loves blankets and she let out a cute "ooooohhhhhh" when she was given this blanket. She has slept with it every night since :)

Poor Little Girl

Our poor little Avery had an accident. She fell off the bed and broke her arm :(
Doing much better and ready to go home....
Avery with all her goodies that all the doctors and nurses at Riley gave her.
Mommy and Avery watching cartoons after surgery.
First night home from the hospital and already dancing along to Chica on Sprout.
Oh how we love that smile.

Very Busy!

Avery has loved the extended summer and awesome fall weather. This kid loves to be outside!
Don't ask the Haselby's how much rain we've gotten....our rain guage only seems to collect rocks.
She MUST be up to no good!
Ornery but oh so cute!
Busy relocating the pumpkins...these poor pumpkins have been moved around A LOT!
"This one goes over here mommy!"
"ooohh, this one is heavy"
"Uh-OH!!!"
"Momma....it came off!!!"-at first she didn't understand what had happend when the stem broke off but then she found it quite funny.
Always smiling :)

She is growing up way too fast....if we blink, she'll be coming down the stairs in her prom dress next :(
Daddy teasing her....
"HA.....funny daddy!!!!"

Many Expressions

Ahhhh, the explorer has spotted the water....
Getting closer but decides to look back for approval.....
She spots a swan and some birds down the shoreline.
Mommy just showed Avery how to skip a rock...
Pretty excited to play in the sand, dirt and sticks.
Ahhh, so Avery's rocks didn't "skip" but they made a big splash that she found rather humorous.
She is surely thinking of what mischevious thing she can do next.

Sweet Tooth

Avery made her first pan of brownies.
She wanted nothing to do with the eggs but thought it was pretty funny when mommy cracked them on the side of the bowl.
Little Miss Independent doesn't want any help!
Very determined to do a good job!
Sweet Success!!!! She didn't mind licking the batter from the bowl afterwards either :)

Daddy's Girl

This little monkey is pretty excited to show her new belt off to her daddy!
Check out that bling!
This kid can find dirt anywhere!!!!
Always daddy's shadow....she is such a big help with everything.
There are no words......
