Coloring Easter Eggs

Pretty excited to find out what this "coloring easter eggs" is all about!

Watching the tablets disolve was the most enjoyable part for Avery & Mommy!

"ooohhhh......it is turning blue"

"eeekkk, I don't think I like orange!"

"Hmmmm, I wonder if Tuffy will eat it?"

Needing a snack in the middle of doing easter eggs to re-fuel (and allow Mommy to regroup)

Putting stickers on the eggs as daddy watched and laughed the whole time.

Ahhhh, DONE! Good to know that Avery & Mommy were still smiling at the end. Daddy & Mommy agreed that coloring eggs is NOT for 10 month olds. Thinking next year this might be a "mamaw project".

Mamaw's 3 day Visit....

So we know that there are non-toxic crayons and there are scented crayons....does anyone know if there are non-toxic, scented AND flavored crayons? If not, maybe we could invent them!

Mamaw was trying to teach Avery to color....this first time didn't hold her interest with it. She is getting better with it...at least now she is grasping the concept of not eating the crayons....well, not right away anyways!

Shopping til she drops!

Best part of a day of shopping is splitting a brownie & ice cream sundae with mommy & mamaw at the end of the day.

Daddy's turn...

Avery wore her Purdue gear for Daddy to Susie's (babysitter) so that they could cheer on the "trains" as soon as they got home. It's almost borderline child abuse! :)

Double Trouble! Waiting on mommy to get home....

Daddy took a day off of work this week to spend with Avery over spring break....hmmmm, wonder why they are so anxious for mommy to get home from work?!?!?!

Webcam Fun

Avery and Auntie Ashley catch up over the internet. Avery was talking up a storm and showing off for her Aunt Sass! She even showed how fast she can crawl!!!!

She is very close to saying her Auntie's name too....she kept trying and she actually surprised mommy and daddy when she tried the "p-p-p" for Uncle Pete. For Auntie Ashley's sake, we hope she doesn't say Pete first. The Haselby's would also like to take a moment to say CONGRATS to Pete for being accepted to an AWESOME residency program in Charlotte, NC! GREAT JOB UNCLE PETE!!!!!

Tourney Time

Daddy is explaining to Avery what the NCAA March Madness is all about and showing her how they are going to fill out her brackets.

She is carefully choosing her teams. There was an "A" and a "B" for each game (A=team on top B=team on bottom)

Daddy and Avery filled out HER entire tourney bracket this way....

Should be interesting to see how Avery's picks stack up to Mommy & Daddy's!

We decided to head to the mall on this rainy/wet Sunday.
