Happy Tree Hunting

Thanksgiving weekend maybe coming to a close but as we head out in search of the best Christmas tree-we are all still counting our blessing for the year. Avery Hanson Haselby is the biggest blessing of all this Thanksgiving!
Little-bit helping daddy drive through the tree farm in search of the GREAT ONE!
Bundled up-even the rain won't stop us! Daddy & Avery check out all the trees for the one that will look just perfect.
WE FOUND IT!!!!! It was as if a spotlight came out from behind the clouds and shined right on this one. It couldn't be more perfect!!!!!!!!!!
Our little eskimo babe-so darn cute all bundled.
Worn out little girl.....being out in the cool, rainy air and then going inside to stand by the fireplace just wiped Avery-bug out.

First Thanksgiving

Avery snuggling with Aunt Darlene and throwing back a Turkey Day bottle.
Sleepy girl trying to wake up after a nap.....she wasn't the only one that was exhausted after eating all that great food!
Peanut got to eat Great Grandma's mashed potatoes and noodles for the first time. She is loving testing out things on mommy & daddy's plate.
FINALLY-Auntie Ashley got home from Louisville and they picked up right where the left off 2 months ago when they last saw eachother.
"I love her THHHIIIISSSSSS much!"
Mamaw playing with our little Hoosier. Amazing how no matter where Avery is sitting/laying, her feet always end up on her ball. Soccer just might be in her future!
Funny Uncle Pete lived up to his name...he had her smiling from the get go.....

Big Green Tractor.....

Cutest lil' country gal :)
"WHAT?"
"Seriously? So you mean there really is no Deer named John?"
"I have so much to learn about those Green Tractors!"

Good times with Great People :)

Great Grandma Daily and Avery got to spend the day together shopping.
Avery was a little apprehensive when Grandma had her glasses on but slowly warmed up. Avery had a great time shopping and spending the day with her family.
Avery and Grandma Val having lunch......Avery was such a good little girl for her shopping trip with the family. It was great to spend the day with her Grandma's, Aunt Darlene and cousins Natalie, Tasha and Kale. Sad that the rest of the girls weren't able to make it but sure Avery will be raring to go next year! (and she'll be able to share a few bites of the cheesecake instead of just watching us all eat it!)
Mommy and her baby girl. Avery bug is 6 whole months old this weekend. Time sure has flown.
Little Macho-Man Kale easily blocked all of the women out while shopping by listening to the IPOD. He was such a good little boy and gave us some good laughs in the Pottery Barn Kids (ask them about the wooden toaster).

Last days of warmth.....

Avery was happy to be outside watching mommy & daddy work out in the yard. This is a MAJOR milestone that she sat happily in her stroller. Up til now, the stroller has only been used to tote all of Avery's "must have's" and a portable crib for naps while out and about.
Easily entertained by watching the dogs and the pigs.
"Hey daddy.....look what I'm doing! I'll be out to help you, Grandpa Daily, Uncle Robert and Uncle Alan in the combine soon!"
Avery is mommy's little co-pilot. Since she was a week old she has enjoyed riding on the lawn mower. She mowed the whole yard with mommy today for the last time this year.

Big Girl had a BIG week!!!!

Avery was introduced to her high chair that Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Daily got her for the first time this week.
This was the moment that Avery saw Daddy and Daddy saw Avery for the first time in the big girl chair! She is so proud of herself she was just beaming as daddy came in the door!
Enjoying her treats from Halloween. First bite of "Puffs"....she is not too impressed. GROSE!
Okay, now they aren't so bad....except for the fact that they stick to her mouth, the roof of her mouth, her lips, her hands, the chair, the dog's back.....yeah they pretty much stick to everything.
She cannot stop smiling in her high chair...she LOVES it!
"Hey Mom....look at me!"
Ahhhh, the sippy.......the Vogel's gave Avery a sippy cup in her Halloween goody bag. Her first sips were quite a surprise for her. She is also learning how to drink with a regular cup now. She is doing rather well with it but would rather have it than the bottle.....uh oh!

1st Halloween

"What? I get to dress up tonight?!?!!?! And get some candy too????"
Two happy girls on one of the best days of the year! What a fun day we all had together. The countdown is already on until next year.
Mamaw and Papaw came down and we all carved pumpkins on Halloween day. Peanut really likes her pumpkins....good thing since we have a million of them at home!

Itsy Bitsy Spider

Our little spider....Avery had an awesome night for her first time trick or treating. She is a chip off the old block-following in her momma's footsteps with a love for the Halloween season!
Mommy dressed up as the spider web and Avery was the spider!
Mamaw and the little Trick or Treater!
Getting ready to head out for a night of fun!
Avery and Great Grandma Haselby.....just look at the smile on that little spider!
Avery was being quite the little cheeseball. She had us all laughing all night...including Great Grandma Daily and Great Uncle Alan!
Great Aunt Darlene was a hit as well....Avery was chewing on the OUTSIDE of her first candy bar.
Great Aunt Kate and Cousin Maggie were easily entertained by Avery. Avery liked the black kitty too....very Halloweenish :)
Aunt Kate wins the prize for the night....she had Avery laughing SOOOO hard it was too darn cute. Little girl was very fortunate to get to see all of her great family members Saturday night....the only thing that she missed was her favorite Auntie Ashley but only a few more weeks until Thanksgiving :)
