Big Girl wore more of her first meal but all in all...it wasn't too bad. Learning curve for all of us! :)
Avery had her 14 week check up this week. Doctor Kauffman was shocked when he came into the room and saw how LONG Avery is! After showing us the percentile charts, he said it is safe to say that there isn't another baby out there taller than little Avery at her age. Doc gave us the okay to start trying cereals and then start introducing baby foods. This should be fun..... :) After Avery got done smiling and talking to him, he said she is a happy healthy little girl!
Poor tired little girl. Avery didn't understand this getting up at 5am stuff. She is wearing her piggy outfit though on show day to cheer daddy on as he showed the Chesters. Ended up with Grand Champion Chester Gilt, Reserve Junior Champion Chester Gilt and 2nd Place Chester Boar.
She was much more comfortable in her stroller with all her favorite things from home. She likes to lay in her stroller and stretch out but not "ride" in it. It is best used to tote ALL of Avery's things!

Avery was petting Bahama Mama and spending some quality time with her before the sale. We were sad to see Bahama Mama go...she was a very nice pig.
Avery got to spend all day with Daddy while Mommy went to work on Tuesday. Geee, wonder who picked out her outfit?

Little miss likes to sit on mommy & daddy's bed and watch mommy clean. Hopefully she is learning at an early age how to keep her room clean?!?!?

Pretty girl is 12 weeks old now. Where has the last 3 months gone? She is so much fun with all her smiles, coo's and laughing. She just loves life and loves to make those around her smile. She is trying so hard to sit up and is trying to push/roll-over. Every now and then she decides to sleep through the night...although she only wakes up 1 time normally anyways during the night (we have been spoiled by that). She likes to play with rattles now that she can hold them and shake them herself. Always exciting to see what she is going to learn next!

Aunt Ashley, Funny Uncle Pete and Cousins-Bailey & Maxie came up from Louisville to spend the weekend at the farm. The dogs LOVED running around, playing in the pool and most of all the baby pigs. 
Neither Bailey or Avery was sure of this situation....
Avery has a hand full of Bailey's hair...I don't think she knew what to do with a long-haired dog.

She loves her baths. She smiles as she kicks and splashes water everywhere. But then she cries when it is time to get her out of the water. In a few years she will cry when we try to get her in the bath water!

Peanut has found her thumb. We have spent the past week pulling her thumb out of her mouth every time we turn around. In this pic, she has BOTH thumbs in her mouth. Exploring her hands and fists are fine but we trying very hard to break the thumb-sucking now....we are losing that battle!
