Meeting the DeLaney's

Avery FINALLY was able to meet her Aunt Ashley and Uncle Pete today. She was very happy to have her Aunt Ashley hold her and even happier to have Ashley hold her while she slept.
Uncle Pete showed no fear holding Miss Avery. She cuddled right up with him and was perfectly content.
Auntie did good feeding little butt....Avery showed Aunt Ash that there is nothing to be nervous of while holding a baby.
Oh funny Uncle Pete.....Avery was pretty intrigued by Pete's funny faces and goofy sounds. Oh the years ahead will be fun for her as her Uncle Pete can entertain himself and her for hours!
Chubby Cheeks! My momma's fat, my daddy's fat...and I'm fat...wanna see me smile? :)

New Toy.....sweet sounding music

Avery got a Seahorse Glo-worm that plays music and lights up to help her fall asleep in her pack&play. She loves anything that plays music!

Discovering new things.....

Baby Girl knows how to get mommy laughing....she has discovered her tongue over the past couple of weeks. This week she has noticed other peoples tongues and that she has one too. If you stick your tongue out at her....she will do the same back to you. I know..I know.....I shouldn't teach my child to stick her tongue out but it is just too cute to see her learning that I couldn't help it.

Brother Tuff's 4th Birthday

Woke up happy to celebrate brother Tuff's birthday
Happy 4th Birthday Tuff! Tuff enjoyed his birthday cake and sharing "pupcakes" with his friends.
Oh so excited to unwrap presents
Tuff just loves his birthday....and Christmas...and Easter. Really anything that involves him getting gifts. Just like a kid!

Daddy's Birthday

Entertaining herself while mommy get's ready. We went to the bank to visit & meet all the ladies there then we took daddy to lunch for his birthday!
So serious, pondering how to surpise daddy for his birthday
She can only keep a straight face for so long and then she just has to smile!

Heading to Michigan

Avery liked getting ready to head to Michigan for Cousin Kyle's wedding. I think she likes to get all dressed up!
Don't you just want to eat her up? Love it!!!!!

First Trip to Wally World

Getting strapped in for our first outing to Walmart. Mommy was pretty nervous as this was our first trip out without daddy and our first time out in public.

OH MY-I think she is ready to go! Too bad the smiles didn't last once we got to the store. She screamed through part of the store and then fell asleep.
Avery is quite the morning person already just like her daddy. She gets smiling so much that she cannot take her bottle. She has started to recognize that when she smiles, mommy laughs and then Avery smiles more. She is quite the little cheese!

Lazy Saturday

Daddy's girl....watchin' sports with her poppa. She is quite content in her daddy's arms.
Why does my mom have to sing every song that comes on? (Clearly Avery is not impressed with her momma's vocal abilities).
Happy, happy girl. She loves laying on the floor so she can kick her legs and swing her arms.

Singin'.....she loves her new outfit that Jenny, Brian & Christopher sent her all the way from Colorado.
Insisting on holding her paci herself....little Miss Independent. We might be in trouble already too...she is already using the middle finger ;)

You are my sunshine!

Bless her heart...she is already trying to block out the dogs barking.

Avery loves laying on the couch staring out the window. It is her favorite spot to be in the house.

Sweet as pie...can hardly tell how fussy I have been this week.

Yoo-hoo Mom....how about you bring that bottle this way!

Getting ready takes so much effort....exhausting being this darn cute! But it was worth it because I got to see Uncle Brock and Aunt Lindsey. Plus Great Grandma Daily held me while I slept.

It never gets old watching her sleep.

First full week of Daddy being back at work

Chillin'...waiting for mom. We are goin' mowin'.
HA-why parents do this to their children is beyond me! Actually the hat was only flipped up for the picture...she wore it down to help momma mow.

Our little one just loves getting to sleep in our bed. She is already a bed hog but sleeps so well each morning when I put her in bed with us after she eats breakfast.

Someone likes getting ready to go see daddy at work. Happy Girl!

Playin' with Big Brother, Tuff. He is a huge help to mom and loves to help watch Avery

Pretty in Pink
